| Paul's musical training continued at the Colchester Institute in Essex, where he has had lead roles in college productions, which include:- Hyllus in Handel's opera Hercules, Pirelli in Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, Colonel Fairfax in Gilbert and Sullivan's Yeoman of the Guard, Singing in the Rain , production tenor in the Colchester Operatic Society's production performed at the Mercury Theatre in 1999 |

Paul also runs his own vocal quartet called The Orianna Consort recorded in February 2001, which specialise in English madrigals, as well as running a school choir called Cantique. Beatles - Please, Please recorded in April 2002 on teacher's training practice at Chadwell Heath Foundation School In May 2001 and 2004, Paul was invited to be the Cantor for the yearly pilgrimage to Boulogne Cathedral. Paul currently sings with Psalmody as a member of the choir and also the Colchester Bach Choir as a member of the choir and soloist.
